•Go through your insurance policy and make sure you understand every piece of it so there aren’t any overlooked details that could cause problems later in the process. Certain rights and responsibilities can be up to you and you should be aware of it beforehand. Ask your agent if you have any questions.

•An independent appraiser may be called in to help settle a matter where the Body Shop and insurance policy aren’t in agreement. This called an Agreement Clause and you may have one in your insurance policy. Ask your agent if you have any questions.

•The law does no require you to get more than one estimate on your vehicle. The shop of your choice may receive your business and the claims adjuster’s suggestion is not final. However, you are responsible to allow the insurance claims adjuster reasonable time to inspect the damages before repairing them. Ask your agent if you have any questions.

•Only you can give the OK to repair your vehicle. The estimates may vary and they may not include every additional fee and service. Make sure to ask about all additional inclusions to the final charge.

•Sign the final release only when you are satisfied with the work performed.
